CORPORATE PROFILES

MARK HOLMES - Chief Executive Officer

Mark Holmes has 25 years experience in business management, marketing and the law. A co-founder of Green Wave, which he considers to be a think tank, he seeks to develop products that are more than innovative…but designed to change the way people think about how and where electrical power can be generated and used.

Holmes started his career as an academic, but at age 23 went to work as a junior and mid-level manager of a major retail corporation. Holmes had P&L responsibility for as many as 40 employees and a unit that generated more than $12 million in annual sales, all while earning a master’s in business from Boston University. Prior to attending law school at University of Texas School of Law, he taught retail managers sales, marketing and accounting. After graduation, Holmes handled a wide variety of business, corporate and maritime litigation and transactions for individuals, businesses and insurance companies. Since 2002, he’s been a partner in two law firms, and since 2008, has operated his own law firm in Newport Beach, California.

DAVID NEW - Chief Operating Officer

David New co-founded Green Wave with Holmes to make their vision of bringing energy and jobs to remote and under-served areas like the Third World a reality. As a lover of water sports and sport fishing, he’s a staunch believer in ocean conservation, and he also enjoys putting his mechanical acumen to work to solve problems and be innovative.

As president and majority shareholder of Basin Marine, Inc., New has built his family business into one of the premier shipyards in Newport Beach, California, over the past 30 years. He took over responsibility for the entire operation from his father after serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War and has maintained its position as a growing, disciplined, professional and financially sound company.

New has more than 40 years of experience solving complex marine, mechanical, electrical and materials problems on all kind of major building, renovation and repair projects. He and his business are uniquely suited to handle the construction and prototype testing of new alternative energy products, identify and analyze component manufacturers and materials suppliers for those products, negotiate supplier agreements, and manage production.

GLEN COOK - V.P. of Innovation

Glen Cook is one of those few people with the ability to look at a mechanical or design problem, deconstruct it to its essential components, and devise a simple and effective solution. He’s passionate about putting an end to global warming and hates that corn is being grown for fuel while millions of people around the world are starving. Cook believes that hydrogen fuel is the wave of the future.

Cook believes that hydrogen fuel is the wave of future, and many of his inventions reflect that belief. He’s the “brains” behind the floating ocean wave generator, the siphon ocean wave generator and a new device for converting waves into electricity as well as the Under Bottom Wave Generator, and co-invented the Vertical Axis Wind Turbine and the Windsock Wind Turbine ™ Green Wave is developing.

Cook’s background is varied, but has one consistent thread: invention and innovation. He’s worked trouble-shooting and designing improvements in large harvest, food processing and canning machines and with medical equipment; invented an improvement for the Clay Adams Medical Blood Cell Counter now in use worldwide; designed an automatic fish feeder for aquariums that’s still on the market today; and invented the “Night Rocker,” a heavy metal personal guitar amp; a wheel alignment tool; and an innovative musical keyboard.
